i realise i am oversimpilying but is anything here wrong from your knowledge

If you have the courage and the hope, the most valuable way of changing education for the sustainability generation connects with an extraordinary educator going and living with the poorest or other most sustainability challenged peoples in the world

the benchmark every educator for the sustainability generation starts with is sir fazle abed

46 years ago he went to live at the epicentre of a place where 1 million people had just been killed by a very local cyclone and where most of the people were illiterate refugees who had just survived bangladesh's war of independence

these peoples really had nothing apart from the trust sir fazle could demand internationally - hos prior job had been national ceo of shell oil corporation and his love for the peoples

so step by step education involved:

resilience skills: showing families how to rebuild their villages and collecting enough clean water and producing enough rice (goal 2) -brac and china worked together on rice science to end famine

whenever people had spare time developing a sort of adult primary montesorri  schooling which adults became language and numbers literate for the first time and applied this to one skill that could become a livelihood- one of the livelihoods was to become a teacher - and over the first 8 years of work of brac the average age range of the class started coming down nearer to 7 to 11 years olds and brac later became the largest non government schools network of primary schools in the world

(about 8 years into working in this village region with no electricity and no telecommunications) sir fazle wanted to do something for all rural children as it was unicef's year of the child - he decided it was possible to save a quarter of all infants lives by training every village mother to apply oral rehydration- this was the first extension of brac from one region to the whole rural nation ; in parallel sir fazle had wanted to try out the barefoot doctor system that china had successfully designed; however bangladesh didnt have enough trained doctors and extremely few who wanted to live in villages so instead brac trained parahealth networkers - one per village would make a living as a combination of basic pharmacist and adviser to mothers on infant and maternal health. This was the first time a nation had scaled a social service from a charity or gov-run process into a sustainable microfranchise business- several hundred thousand self-employed para-health networkers emerged in parallel to brac's primary schools.  Now that fewer infants died , vil;age mothers started having less children and becoming income earning as brac designed food security businesses (rice, vegetables, chickens) as village microfdachises, and in cases like poultry became the nationwide market leader. 

All the while the schools of brac were both the highest quality villages have ever seen in achieving literacy and surrounded by livelihood solutions children could apprentice into. Increasingly brac innovated conditional cash transfers so that secondary scholarships were available to its smartest primary school students especially girls who wanted to become leading medical or public servants

So village schooling, village babking, village health systems, village jobs were all connected together with sustainability goals at the heart of the hubs of BRAC out of every village. By living with the poorest BRAC could fit in the next piece of each of these services more efficiently effectively and expandably (scaling small is beautiful but larges scale in bangaldesh is absolutely essential) than any western functional expert in poverty alleviation had ever seen before. Brac's girls grassroots networks had become the foundation of building the 8th most populous nation in the world starting the new nation up in 1971 with next to no resources. 

Imagine what would have happened if Bangladesh had been a failed nation - china has a lot to thank sir fazle for when you bring out the map of the region. That's because about a hundred miles north of bangladesh (across a corridor of Indian land) China was racing even faster to end poverty  among its 1.25 billion people but the difference was china's race from the 1970s had been supported by the Chinese Diaspora already the 3rd most financed in the world as they had become the main traders and superport designers of the eastern hemisphere.
Around 1995 both china and bangladesh started experimenting with mobile webs.  The reality seems to us to be if you ever wanted to check the most ultra solutions and education curricula of sustainability goals check in with brac first eg www.bkash.com the largest cashless mp3 banking system in the world if you want to see the most extraordinary advanced infrastructures for developing youth as the sustainbility generation benchmark with china eg alipay and taobao. Expect that as China helps the world map belt road trading routes for family size enterprses that those begin by linking in chinese neighbors will need a mix of what brac girls built and what china is now the first nation of sustainability networking that children and teachers can learn form.

The BRAC example can be extended by discipline of an extraordinary educator
eg jim kim and friends as world class health servants have applied living and learning to last mile health exchanges but even they found that some of the most basic solutions they needed came from brac's experience

Since 2011 sheihka moza and other first ladies in countries with conflicts or refugees all around them started the wise education laureates making sir fazle and his alumni the inaugural laureate network ; they have now linked in 6 educators who have connected various parts of the world in changing education solutions by living with children in extremely challenging situations; one of the WISE  summits first hosts abroad was in beijing so wise now gains from the most brilliant chinese technologists in education; and the whole network of networks has been asked by the UN's head st antonio guterres to host sustainability goals most excity learning summit at the united nationsgeneral assembly sept 2018
